LP 2000 Bench top Turbidity Meter

LP 2000 is the lab operators dream instrument! It measures turbidity from 0 to 50 FTU* with 0.01 sensitivity and then reads all the way from 50 to 1000 FTU with a 1 FTU resolution. Calibration is automatic, quick and simple. Two calibration standards with fixed values of 0 and 10 FTU are automatically recognized by the microprocessor. The standards are supplied with the instruments and are AMCO-AEPA-1 instead of formazine since they are more stable, non-toxic and can be reused for up to a year without contamination.

LP 2000 uses the infrared beam and the 90 sensor method to measure turbidity since it is less sensitive to colour as opposed to the filter system. LP 2000 is the only turbidity meter equipped with an infrared LED as source of light. The infrared LED has a long life, unlike standard lamps, and more importantly, it maintains constant emission for the entire life of the instrument. The wavelength peaks at 890 nm, which ensures maximum intensity of diffused light even in samples with low turbidity values, and also reduces the interference from any colours. A large LCD display shows read-outs in clear digits.

The GLP feature automatically stores and retrieves the last calibration date. At the touch of a key, the last calibration data is displayed allowing the user to ensure accurate calibration with every test.

C 114 Turbidity and Chlorine Measurement

With the hand held C 114, three important parameters in water quality analysis are at your fingertips. Free and total chlorine measurements and EPA compliant turbidity measurements are performed quickly and reliably with this lab-grade microprocessor-based field instrument. C 114 is particularly useful for potable water measurements and municipalities.

The rugged C 114 will log data for up to 25 measurements along with time and date information for retrieval at a later date. This instrument also offers Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) features which allow the user to verify the calibration status of the meter. With C 114 measurements can be performed using either concentration or relative absorbance of the sample depending on the requirements of the application. The I 93703 portable microprocessor-based turbidity meter provides lab-grade accuracy even in the field. With 4 keys and weighing only 350 grams, HI 93703 measures turbidity from 0 to 1000 FTU (NTU)*. For best field accuracy, it measures from 0 to 50 FTU in steps of 1/100th of FTU. This is 10 times better than comparable models on the market that measure 10 to 50 FTU only in decimal points! The meter meets the ISO 7027 requirements.
